NewJeans will present “GODS” in association with Riot Games and League of Legends to the world on October 3, 2023 at 10 pm PST or 2 pm KST on October 4, 2023.

This new song was written by the Riot Games principal composer Sebastien Najand and Alex Seaver of Mako. Their credits include, “Legends Never Die”, “Rise”, “Awaken” and songs heard on the Arcane soundtrack.

This is a major deal as most of those songs are some of the more popular ones previously released by Riot Games for different League of Legends events.

Above is the official cover photo for “GODS”, the Worlds 2023 Anthem/Song. This gives a quick glimpse as to what will be the focus of the animation for the song.

People can see that Deft, last year’s World Champion, is the focus. But there is someone falling as well. Whether that is him or not will be worth watching for.

Along with that, below his face, it looks to be the Baseball stadium, the Gocheok Sky Dome.

Last, one can see the Worlds trophy in the top right which signifies what everyone at Worlds is chasing after.

There is no doubt that this could be a League of Legends World Championship for the ages and seeing “GODS” is just the beginning.
