Now that we’ve covered what teams are available to bet on, let’s discuss how to bet on Wild Rift.

Considering that the mobile title is a MOBA, such as LoL and Dota, the following esports betting markets are typically made available by bookmakers:

  • Match Winner/Loser – simplest of bets, where one uses odds and their gut instinct to back a winner between two teams
  • Match Duration – a common betting market for MOBAs, matches may range from 30 minutes to over an hour – can you guess how long a match will take?
  • Outright Event Winner – before an event starts, one has the opportunity to guess who’ll win the entire thing from the very start
  • Special Bets – these include bets such as ‘First Blood’ and ‘First to take Baron’ amongst others.
  • Live betting – over the past year, live betting has become incredibly popular due to its exciting nature

Wild Rift League Asia Season 1 – Format

So, how does it all work? Taking place between 8th April to 23rd July, the Wild Rift League Asia Season 1 looks to be the highest level of Wild Rift competition in the entire continent.

Featuring the best 20 teams in all of Asia, each with their own esports odds, there are multiple stages of format teams will have to jump through.

Firstly, the Regular Season will take place between April 8th and June 11th. Here, 20 teams play in two Group Stages depending on their region – China or APAC Conference.

Following a BO3 round robin, the top 8 from CN Conference and Top 4 from APAC Conference will qualify for the Playoffs.

Once here, the Playoffs will run from June 20th to July 9th, with a double elimination bracket. With every match being BO7, the top 2 from each Conference moves on to the Finals.

Taking place between July 21st and 23rd, the Finals will be the epic final showdown, crowning a continental champion. Involving a round robin and a knockout stage, an inaugural Asian champion will be crowned.
