Where Can You Watch the Overwatch League Pro-Am?

Date:

With just 24 hours until the start of the sixth season of the Overwatch League, fans have been wondering where they can watch the Overwatch League Pro-Am. The Overwatch League has found a home on YouTube for the past few seasons, but the league still has yet to make an official announcement as to where audiences can watch the popular esport. As it stands, people will want to continue to tune into YouTube for the Overwatch League Pro-Am.

Overwatch Contenders Korea kicked off this morning and was streamed on YouTube. It is important to note however that Contenders was also streamed on Twitch as well. Fans have been asking Overwatch to switch back to Twitch after years of middling viewership numbers on YouTube. This split streaming creates a glimmer of hope for those pushing for a return to Twitch.

For now it is safe to assume that the Overwatch League will continue to stream on YouTube. On the Overwatch League site, we can see on the schedule that games are slated to be streamed online on YouTube only. The small YouTube logo is the key to finding the stream.

Take all of this with a grain of salt. The Overwatch League has a habit of announcing things at the very last moment. For all we know, OWL could be streamed on both platforms but we won’t know until thirty minutes before hand. Keep those notifications on for the Overwatch League Twitter page, because that new announcement could come at any second.
