ESL Pro League Group C Fantasy game open to play

Date:

ESL Pro League S16 Group C is set to start on September 14 and accompanying it will be another HLTV.org Fantasy game. The HLTV x Roobet league will grant the three top-placed users skin prizes and contribute to the Fall season leaderboard.

Astralis and Heroic headline the group, with the two European mixes of MOUZ and ENCE also among the favorites to advance. Joining them are two underdog teams in the form of HEET and Complexity, who will be looking to upset the higher-rated teams in the round-robin group stage.

blameF ($239,000) is the most expensive player in Group C

ENCE dominates the most picked players, with Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså ($194,000) and Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer ($179,000) coming in as the most popular options, no doubt due to their low price coupled with high expectations for the roster.

Other popular picks include the Astralis trio of Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke ($208,000), Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth ($189,000) and Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander ($187,000), who play for the highest-ranked team in the group and are therefore expected to get through the group stage.

Benjamin “blameF” Bremer ($239,000) is the highest priced player in Group C, quite a way ahead of the second most expensive option, Martin “stavn” Lund ($226,000). They averaged a 1.26 and 1.15 rating in the last three months respectively, giving users an amazing potential for points if their teams find success.

JACKZ is a popular budget option

An interesting budget option is Audric “JACKZ” Jug ($174,000), who has an incredibly low price tag and is therefore a risk many users are taking, with the Frenchman being the second most popular pick in the game. Complexity‘s duo of Justin “FaNg” Coakley ($183,000) and Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli ($186,000) have a similar price and might be worth a gamble, considering the team has shown some better form of late.

The celebrity fantasy league will also go live, with several recognizable names playing for $1,000 in their respective leaderboard. HLTV.org’s very own Zvonimir “Professeur” Burazin had the best performing team in EPL Group B, which earned him 15 season points. In Group C he spent heavily on blameF, while completing his roster with budget-friendly options such as gla1ve and Christopher “dexter” Nong.

Professeur‘s fantasy roster is:
