Unstoppable Domains, the largest Web3 domain name firm by number of names registered, has announced today a partnership with Push Protocol, a decentralized messaging protocol, to create Unstoppable Messaging.

In a bid to fight off misinformation from AI and Telegram bots, along with other malicious actors looking to scam investors in the crypto space, the partnership will build the token-gated Group Chat platform.

Group Chat introduces a token-gated system based on the badges that users own, ensuring that only individuals or team members holding a specific badge can participate in the conversation.

“Group Chat is more than a messaging tool — it’s a new way for teams and communities to interact, make decisions, and share information rapidly, privately, and securely,” said Sandy Carter, COO and Head of Business Development at Unstoppable Domains, in a release shared with The Defiant.

The new platform will limit access to specific communities based on users’ immutable and verifiable blockchain history, bringing an additional layer of security and privacy to its users.

Users can opt to join the groups they are eligible for (e.g. hold a badge). Text-based group chats will be available for all 439 Unstoppable Badges at launch. Users can access group chat via their ud.me/profile.
