Date:

DURHAM – Two startups have received follow-on investments through a fund managed by IDEA Fund Partners, the early-stage investment firm confirmed to WRAL TechWire this week.

In three separate, but related, SEC filings, the IDEA Co-Investment Fund I, LP disclosed $455,000 in total funding with $50,000 on an amended filing from 99 investors and the remaining $405,000 on two filings, both of which were from 13 investors, one totaling $192,500 and the other totaling $212,500.

“These are follow on investments in existing portfolio companies,” said Lister Delgado, managing partner at IDEA Fund Partners.   The two portfolio companies in which investments were made through the fund were Ecomap and Nestment, Delgado told WRAL TechWire.

The firm raised $2.26 million in 2020 following a co-investment of $120,000 earlier that year.
