Sylveon is a new Eevee evolution recently added to Pokemon GO during the Luminous Legends Y event. You can obtain it by naming your Eevee “Kira” and evolving it (one-time use), or making Eevee your buddy and earning 70 buddy hearts to evolve it into Sylveon. The newest of the eight Eevee evolutions, Sylveon is adorable and packs a lot of power to boot. Here are the moves you’ll want to look for to make Sylveon the strongest it can be.

Sylveon’s best moves include the fast move Charm, and the Charged move Dazzling Gleam. Both moves are Fairy-type, meaning they’ll benefit from the Same-Type Attack Bonus, dealing 20% more damage.
Charm is a more powerful quick move compared to Sylveon’s other available quick move, Quick Attack. It is able to deal 16 points of damage per second.
Draining Kiss, when compared to Sylveon’s other charged moves, Draining Kiss and Moonblast, strikes a good balance of dealing considerable damage without requiring too much energy. It outputs a DPS of 34.3.
As a Fairy-type Pokemon, Sylveon is strong against Fighting-, Dragon-, and Dark-types when attacking, and weak against Poison-, Steel-, and Fire-types. When defending, Sylveon is resistant against Fighting-, Bug-, Dragon-, and Dark-types, and vulnerable to Poison- and Steel-types. Note that Sylveon is especially resistant to Dragon-types, and will only take 39% damage from Dragon-type attacks.
