Summer Solstice in Pokémon Go is a brand new event.
Solrock and Lunatone will be available worldwide throughout the Solstice event in Pokémon Go on June 17. Player’s can also encounter the legendary Regigigas in five-star raids. Regigigas is a Legendary Pokémon that is a normal type but with strong stats.
Where to catch Solrock, Lunatone, and Regigigas can be found in five-star raids. Player’s need to participate and complete many 5-star raids in battles to get a chance to capture a Solrock, Lunatone, or Regigiga. It is possible to also catch a shiny version of these Pokemon, but players won’t know until they have obtained one successfully. make sure to bring your best Pokeballs and berries to get a higher chance of capture. Summer Solstice event will have your Pokemon Go buddies bring more Pokeball and gift items than normal. The event is from Thursday, June 17 at 10 a.m. (local time) to Sunday, June 20 at 8 p.m. (local time).
