Sound Control Technologies has opened its first European office, in Tunbridge Wells in the UK.

The US-headquartered company will use the 80 sq m office and showroom to offer video-based sales and marketing support to its European distribution partners and their integrator and dealer channel partners.

In-house facilities, which resemble a video studio, will showcase fully installed SCT products working live alongside equipment from VC and UC manufacturers supported by the company.

SCT will also be able to host demonstration visits from customers, as well as from consultants and architects, who are interested not only in the remote connectivity of cameras and audio facilities to codecs, but also in purpose-built hidden wall mounts and hidden cable-to-meeting table solutions.

SCT is expanding its workforce worldwide and has representation in all the continents of the world providing sales and marketing support for growing distributor, dealer and integrator channels. Technical support is mainly handled through its office in Dallas, Texas but in the UK and Asia there are also local first-line support services.

Meanwhile, enlarged development teams in the US and Taiwan have successfully utilised new processors to overcome delayed delivery of originally specified components.
