No, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will not be coming to Xbox Game Pass. The main reason for that is Elden Ring itself is not on Game Pass and never has been.
Along with this, the rights to get Elden Ring on Game Pass would be very expensive right now. Maybe in a few years once a second game has been announced or even another DLC it wouldn’t be too surprising to see it get another life on Game Pass.

The Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Release Date will be on June 21, 2024.
There is obviously always the chance that it will get pushed back but as of writing this article, it is safe to assume it will release on time. The main reason to assume this is that we are very close to the release date and releasing in June is a perfect time for the main reason that students are out of school.
Along with this, you will have to remember that you must have the original full game of Elden Ring in order to be able to play Shadow of the Erdtree.
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Gameplay
This DLC will be very similar to the original Elden Ring in terms of gameplay. Mainly for the reason that players are going to want to use the characters they already put a lot of time into.
This will see players exploring a new area of the game where they will fight all new bosses and general bad guys. They will have new items, upgrades and likely even higher leveling.
Obviously, this DLC will be shorter in terms of how long it takes to beat compared to the original Elden Ring. That being said, it will still be $39.99 which shows that we are likely in store for quite a bit of new content for the former game of the year.
