Passing this peer review, in addition to our ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 22301 certifications, are validation that we strive to live by our core values and earn the trust of our clients.

Risk3sixty, a company that helps organizations assess, build, manage and certify their security programs against multiple compliance frameworks including SOC 2 and ISO 27001, today announced that the firm passed its second SOC Peer Review with no deficiencies. This milestone underscores the firm’s dedication to meeting the SOC standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPAs.

“One of our core values is craftsmanship, and we take considerable pride in doing things with uncommon quality,” said risk3sixty CEO and Co-Founder Christian Hyatt. “This includes quality in the deliverables our clients receive, quality in the products that we build and quality in the back-office processes that no one outside the firm ever sees. Passing this peer review, in addition to our ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 22301 certifications, are validation that we strive to live by our core values and earn the trust of our clients.”

Firms that issue SOC reports are required to undergo a Peer Review on a periodic basis. Risk3sixty Compliance completed a review of the quality system that includes risk3sixty Compliance’s policies and procedures for ensuring that AICPA standards are met on all SOC engagements.

“As a compliance firm that services the B2B SaaS market, it is important that our clients have the ability to show their potential business partners that risk3sixy’s SOC practices meet the rigorous standards of the AICPA,” said risk3sixty Director of Quality Assurance Philip Brudney. “This Peer Review shows clients can trust that the SOC reports we generate are of the highest quality.”

One thing that makes risk3sixty unique is that every engagement executed uses the Phalanx GRC platform. Built by the experts at risk3sixty, the platform has helped hundreds of companies maintain their compliance and security platforms.

“Phalanx enables us to meet the standards set by the AICPA in a streamlined manner and adds a lot of value for our clients,” said risk3sixty President and Co-Founder Christian White. “The platform helps interpret the requirements of SOC 2, enables collaboration and automates a lot of time-consuming processes.”
