Ethereum bulls have been showing promising signs this year, and the community continues to anticipate new price levels with each coming month. Price predictions from analysts’ are as bullish as ever and long term investors like Davinci Jeremie are calling $10,000 as a definite price for the asset before the year runs out.

Prominent investor says ETH hitting $10k is possible this year

Jeremie, who is also a Bitcoiner had previously urged the community in 2013 to buy as little as $1, a risk that seemed to pay off for him and other Bitcoiner who took his advice.

“I’m hoping that every single one of you buys $1 worth of bitcoin. Just one freaking dollar. Because you’re gonna be thanking me for that just $1.” Jeremie said in a Youtube video posted in 2013. 

Now, the Bitcoiner has taken to Twitter to flex his analytical skills on where he thinks the price of the second most valued cryptocurrency is headed.

“No matter what happens in the short term ethereum is going to $10,000 and beyond this year!” wrote the investor 

How fast can Ether bounce back?

Ethereum is trading at $2,719 at the time of this report after accumulating daily gains above 5%. Ether makes the list one of the fastest cryptocurrencies that quickly corrected losses after the two weeks long bloodbath.

After hitting a price low of $1,737 on the 23rd of May, ETH was quick to bounce back above the $2,000 level. Retesting its all-time high of $4,362 may take a while for Ethereum bulls, but with its current pace, there’s room for the asset to cross that price mark even faster.

Jeremie insists holding BTC and ETH is key

As adoption for the Ethereum network rises, market participants are waiting to see whether the asset unseats Bitcoin as many have predicted in the past.

But Jeremie, like a few other market players, insists that owning both Bitcoin and Ether is a plus for every investor’s portfolio as both assets have a network that is certain to succeed and morph into a widely adopted platform in the global market.

His tweet from a while back reads:

“I know bitcoin will be transactional money one day.” He said. Adding that  “I also know ethereum will be the web and/or replace brokerage and complex financial institutions such as insurance and derivatives. I think you should own both!”
