Pokemon Unite continues to bring out new Pokemon to join in the battles on Aeos Island. They are adding more Pokemon to build out the roster and it will be interesting to see when or if they slow down. Regardless, the release date for a few Pokemon have now been leaked and thus fans will have an idea of who is coming next. One that has very little confirmation but feels likely is another Eeveelution. Was Pokemon Unite Leafeon Leaked?

Since being added in Generation 4, also known as Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Glaceon and Leafeon have been fan favorites. They were added as new evolutions for Eevee, a Pokemon that already had five evolutions and is still the record holder for evolutions in Pokemon. This Pokemon was known to be very quick and pretty strong but has rarely been used in competitive Pokemon battles.
It would seem as though Pokemon Unite is truly trying to catch them all, at least with Eeveelutions. What is interesting is that Leafeon would be the fifth Eeveelution and only the second that is not an attacker. Add onto this that all of the Eeveelutions released after the original games would be in Pokemon Unite. Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon would be the last to join, unless another Eeveelution is released before then.
The leak for Leafeon comes from ElChicoEevee, a known Pokemon Unite leaker. They were able to find mention of Leafeon in the game’s code.
There have been times when a Pokemon has been in the code but not playable or even just not put in the game officially. So with this, take it with a grain of salt. Leafeon could be coming but with Pokemon planned out for at least the next month and a half, it still may be a bit before it is added in the game. Once it is, that means players could play as an entire Eeveelution team.
