PeckShieldAlert has detected yet another case of exploitation in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. MetaPoint1024 was the latest target, with the scammer reaping 2,515 BNB, worth approximately $812k.
As a result of this exploit, the value of the POT token dropped by a staggering 77%. The exploiter has already transferred 2,513 BNB into Tornado Cash, further complicating efforts to track down the perpetrator and recover the stolen funds.
In the third instance of PeckShield`s report, a ZeroTransfer scam involves the theft of $100k USDT from the wallet address 0xa09a…307. The scammer is believed to be behind a string of recent attacks targeting various blockchain ecosystems.
