VAZATA, a managed security services provider focused on data security, protection, and compliance, is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Chouffet as CISO and EVP of Product & Solution Engineering.

Before his promotion, Paul led the solutioning effort for VAZATA’s customers across the entire VAZATA portfolio of services, from cloud to managed services and from end-user computing to cyber security. He was the driving force in creating and implementing a new suite of widely-adopted security solutions (Cybernetics) while working to attain the very difficult to earn CISSP.

In addition to expanding the VAZATA security product portfolio, Paul has developed a fractional CISO function for VAZATA’s customers. He and his team will be working with them to stay abreast of the latest security technology and threats.

“My role as CISO and EVP of Solution Engineering will be to enhance both VAZATA’s and VAZATA client’s security posture in this ever-changing security landscape. We will accomplish this by providing best of breed security solutions utilizing layered security techniques to create defense in depth.” Paul mentioned. “As the CISO, I am looking forward to providing strategic and tactical solutions to protect to fulfill VAZATA’s mission of being the vanguard of our client’s data,” he added.

Paul’s promotion will allow VAZATA and its diverse customer base to utilize his role as a trusted advisor to design and implement business-driven cybersecurity solutions.

Before joining VAZATA, Paul co-founded, owned, and operated Dallas Help Desk, Inc.—a help desk services company that provided solutions to many industry-leading customers in such fields as financial services, construction, engineering, and other strategic markets.
