Throughout Overwatch’s lifespan, there have been a lot of heroes who have gone through some major changes. These have been in regard to their abilities, passives, and overall playstyles. With Season 7 of Overwatch 2, Sombra and Roadhog are up for a complete makeover. While Roadhog will be receiving his midseason, Sombra will be getting hers at the very start. Here are all of the Sombra changes coming in Overwatch 2 Season 7 Rise of Darkness.

Sombra’s New Abilites
Here are all of the new changes coming to Sombra. Each one is said to give her a more active role and playstyle on the team. This is to ensure that to takes part and is more involved during team fights.
Stealth (Passive)
When out of combat, Sombra becomes invisible and is able to move faster. This previously was an ability that players had to activate, but it now happens automatically.
Virus (Ability)
Infect enemies with a projectile that deals damage over time. Virus damages hacked enemies at a faster rate than normal.
Translocator (Ability)
Throw a beacon and teleport to it. Stealth cooldown is reduced after teleporting.
Sums Up All of Sombra’s Changes
That’s pretty much all of the changes coming to Sombra in Overwatch 2. All of her other abilities are staying the same. She can still use her EMP ultimate like normal and still has the ability to hack enemies and med-pack items. With this re-work hopefully, Sombra players will be able to be more involved during fights. Not only that but hopefully they enjoy the changes done to her overall.
