In this industry where most #CryptoPH IRL events happen around BGC and Makati City, homegrown crypto exchange Moneybees announced that its users can now buy and sell cryptocurrencies in One Ayala, a newly opened intermodal transportation hub in the area.
Over-The-Counter Crypto Service in One Ayala
Moneybees’ over-the-counter (OTC) crypto service in One Ayala is made possible by the recent opening of a branch of its partner Tivoli Money Exchange, a money changer service that has been operating since 1983.
“Located at the corner of Ayala Avenue and EDSA in Makati, the new intermodal transportation hub is now home to Tivoli’s latest store. Tivoli One Ayala houses Moneybees’ competitive crypto services to cater to digital currency users of all backgrounds within the vicinity,” the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)-licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) said.
In 2021, Moneybees confirmed its partnership with the money changer to let its customers exchange crypto for Phippine Peso and vice versa at its three branches in Trinoma, Glorietta 2, and Okada Manila.

“As cryptocurrencies gain acceptance in the market, offering Moneybees cryptocurrency exchange services allows us to thrive in this digital age,” Eirene Tinitigan, President of Tivoli Money Exchange, emphasized as she talked about offering OTC crypto service on their fourth branch. “Our customers can expect a seamless integration of traditional currency trading and cryptocurrency investments. They will gain access to an extensive range of fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat trading pairs, ensuring enhanced liquidity and convenience.”
As of this writing, the four Tivoli Money Exchange branches offer Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), and other cryptocurrencies.
“Expanding our services to the new branch of Tivoli at One Ayala attempts to meet the increasing demand for convenient and reliable crypto exchange services in the country. Moneybees remains dedicated to offering transparent rates and expert support for a seamless and rewarding crypto trading experience as customer satisfaction and safety are at the core of our operations,” Moneybees CEO Jay Villarante stressed.
Moreover, for Villarante, opening OTC crypto services near leisure and shopping centers is “strategical,” as it reaches both experienced and inexperienced traders and enthusiasts:

Moneybees’ Recent Moves
A year ago, the crypto exchange collaborated with ACM Business Solution Inc. to roll out crypto buy and sell services through its 1,330 GoVIP centers nationwide. The partnership was said to cater to the increasing demand for over-the-counter transactions for cryptocurrency users in the Philippines.
Moneybees is also the crypto partner of Tambunting, a known pawnshop in the country with about 1,200 branches. The collaboration has activated crypto exchange services at 10 selected Tambunting branches across Greater Manila:

Meanwhile, last July, Moneybees also opened an OTC crypto service in Venice Grand Canal Mall, one of the tourist spots in Taguig City, through a partnership with Monteal Money Changer Services.
“By combining our expertise, we have made significant strides in democratizing access to cryptocurrency services and ensuring financial inclusivity for all Filipinos,” Villarante concluded.
