Fashanu stepped into the starting lineup at left tackle in 2022. He helped Penn State win 11 games and was named a Second Team All-American. In the 2023 season, he moved up to the First Team All-American and Penn State won 10 games for another good season.
Following the 2023 season, Fashanu made the decision to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a top-10 pick.
Olu Fashanu Strengths
Fashanu has solid size for an offensive tackle at the NFL level. He stands at 6-foot-6 and 317 pounds, which is good for an NFL offensive tackle. His size gives him great play strength and he also has good length, which helps him sustain blocks. It looks like he can add some strength to his frame as well.
