NFL Week 13 Picks Against the Spread

Date:

NFL Week 13 is here. Picking NFL games straight up is hard enough, but picking against the spread is even tougher. Here are the NFL week 13 picks against the spread. (Spreads are from Tallysight as of Tuesday morning)

Last Week: 6-9-1, Season: 82-93-6

Thursday Night Football

Buffalo Bills (-5) at New England Patriots

The Bills have notched two straight wins after losing two in a row. Playing the Patriots is never easy, but they have way more firepower and should be able to cover.

Pick: Bills

Sunday Afternoon

Washington Commanders (-2.5) at New York Giants

Washington is on a roll right now. They have won six of their last seven games and the team seems to be playing better with Taylor Heinicke at quarterback. The Giants are struggling after his slow start.

Pick: Commanders

New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings (-3)

Mike White brought some life to the Jets’ offense, but it remains to be seen if that is sustainable. Minnesota has been one of the best teams in the league this season and their offense should be able to cover against the Jets.

Pick: Vikings

Tennessee Titans at Philadelphia Eagles (-5)

Philadelphia has been a great team, but they have struggled to stop the run. Derrick Henry will help make this game close, even if the Titans don’t win outright.

Pick: Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions (-1)

The Lions played on Thanksgiving so they received extra time to prepare for this game. They have won three of their last four and should be able to defeat the Jaguars at home.

Pick: Lions

Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens (-8.5)

While the Ravens have been struggling lately, they return home to play a team that is performing well below expectations this season. Lamar Jackson should have a big game and the Ravens should cover.

Pick: Ravens

Pittsburgh Steelers at Atlanta Falcons (-1)

The Steelers will be on a short week on the road and are now a little banged up at the running back position. Atlanta should be able to control the clock and win the game at home.

Pick: Falcons

Green Bay Packers (-3) at Chicago Bears

Green Bay has plenty of injuries, but they put on a good showing against the Eagles in week 12. With the status of Justin Fields being up in the air, the Packers can win by more than a field goal.

Pick: Packers

Cleveland Browns (-7) at Houston Texans

The Browns will have Deshaun Watson returning this week. He may be a little rusty, but should play well against his former team, who have been the worst team in the league this season. Cleveland can focus on stopping the run and win the game.

Pick: Browns

Sunday Evening

Seattle Seahawks (-8) at Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp will both likely be out for this game. The Rams weren’t playing well even with them in the lineup, so it will be hard for them to keep this game within eight points, especially with the team not opening up the playbook for Bryce Perkins.

Pick: Seahawks

Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers (-3.5)

The Dolphins may be traveling across the country, but they have the much better offense. Their defense also has improved since acquiring Bradley Chubb. They can go on the road and pull of the upset in Mike McDaniel’s game against his former team.

Pick: Dolphins

Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) at Cincinnati Bengals

This line is kind of odd when considering the Bengals have defeated the Chiefs twice in a row and they get Joe Mixon and Ja’Marr Chase back. It will be a close game, but the Bengals are one of the hottest teams in the league and can protect their home turf.

Pick: Bengals

Los Angeles Chargers (-2) at Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas got a win on the road against Seattle to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. The Chargers have a bit more real chance of making the playoffs and should be ready to win this game on the road.

Pick: Chargers

Sunday Night Football

Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys (-10)

The Colts will have a short week, while the Cowboys have extra time to prepare for this game. The 10-point spread is still a bit much for this game. Dallas will win by a touchdown, but it may be tough to win by two scores.

Pick: Colts

Monday Night Football

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5)

It will be Andy Dalton vs. Tom Brady in prime time. Take Tom Brady to cover.

Pick: Buccaneers
