MOUZ vs G2 Match Preview

MOUZ

MOUZ are in a difficult spot right now, having lost their star player in David “frozen” Cernansky just a few weeks before one of the biggest tournaments of the year. The team’s young core will have to showcase their adaptability, if they want to leave Abu Dhabi with a positive result.

Even though MOUZ’s situation is far from ideal, they still have a very talented squad, that is more than capable of a deep playoff run. Maybe frozen’s departure leads to another player stepping up and becoming the team’s new focal point.

G2

G2 are the team with the least reps in CS2 on LAN at the BLAST World Final. The only offline tournament they attended in the new game is IEM Sydney, which took place nearly two months ago. Since then, the G2 lineup has seen two changes as Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic replaced Justin “jks” Savage, and Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas became the team’s new coach.

Due to the international roster having played such a limited number of CS2 matches, it is hard to assess what their true level is. They are a real unknown coming into the competition.
