This expansion marks the latest forward momentum of Mission IT and its founder Shawn Wells, who has recently been accepted into the Forbes Technology Council. With a focus on the government sectors in North America and Europe, Mission IT has also established strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Red Hat, GitLab, Google Cloud, Splunk, and WalkMe.

Additionally, as part of Mission IT’s move to expand its business operations to Europe, it announces hiring industry-leading cloud and cybersecurity technologist Šimon Lukašík, based out of Brno, Czech Republic. Lukašík joins Mission IT from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, where he focused on cloud, Kubernetes, and serverless security. Prior roles include Principle Software Engineer at open source company Red Hat, where Lukašík designed hybrid cloud management platforms and OpenSCAP, a security automation technology.
