The #Dolphins have informed CB Xavien Howard he will be released at the start of the league year, sources tell me and @PSchrags. The four-time Pro Bowl selection is expected to have significant interest on the market.

Howard, 30, is a four-time Pro Bowler who has 29 interceptions and 95 passes defended in his career. He has played for the Dolphins his entire eight-year career.

The Dolphins will move forward with Jalen Ramsey and Kader Kohou at the cornerback position.

Howard is expected to be a heavily-targeted free agent.
