The final wave of new characters making their appearance in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been officially announced. For those who don’t know, the Booster Course Pass Wave 6 DLC for the Nintendo racing title will be the last DLC that’s being added to the game. Of course, Nintendo could always add more down the line but no announcement on that has been made at the moment. No specific release date has been given for the Wave 6 DLC, however, it’s known that it will be released this holiday.

What’s Next For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?
To add alongside the roster of new Characters, Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii will also be making a return to the racing series. While we didn’t get a specific release date for the DLC, Nintendo did share everything that will be coming with this final wave of DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. With this being the last piece of content that players will receive for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, fans can speculate on what’s going to happen next for the title. As it stands at the moment, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are at a content dry well as no new content will be added for both of them. It seems that the only hope is to wish for a new Nintendo Switch console so that new iterations of both beloved titles can be added to it.
