BONE anticipated to receive more visibility as a prominent cryptocurrency exchange endorses new support

The governance token of Shiba Inu and Shibarium’s utility token, BONE ShibaSwap (BONE), stands to become more notable as a major crypto platform broadens its support.

OKX Africa, an extension of the Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange OKX, now includes BONE in its On-chain Earn program. Lucie, a team member at Shiba Inu, highlights this beneficial occurrence on Twitter.

OKX On-chain Earn enables participants to explore on-chain earning possibilities. Through proof-of-stake (PoS) and DeFi protocols, users can obtain rewards for their engagement.

The incentives from PoS staking are obtained from block rewards and fees, which are given to those involved in the network’s validation process.

Within DeFi protocols, contributors earn rewards by staking or adding liquidity to pools or decentralized exchanges.

BONE, as the Shibarium’s gas token, has recently seen an increase in exchange listings. In January, the newly launched exchange EarnBIT publicized BONE’s inclusion in its offerings. Shibarium has also noted an uptick in activity, surpassing 332 million total transactions, while closing in on 3 million total blocks created.

As of this report, BONE has experienced a minor 0.35% increase over the past day, with a price point of $0.547.

Caution Advisory to Shiba Inu Community

Owners of SHIB, BONE, and LEASH and those participating in Shiba Inu and Shibarium networks are advised to remain vigilant as the number of counterfeit accounts looking to exploit uninformed users is climbing.

With the rise in Shiba Inu’s popularity, the prevalence of scammers and malicious elements has also increased, with some even imitating legitimate Shiba Inu profiles in attempts to deceive users.

Shibarmy Scam Alerts, a Twitter account dedicated to exposing scams, is focusing on these incidents, recently identifying a phony Shiba Eternity account.

The Shiba Inu community should always verify the authenticity of the sources and make connections exclusively with official channels and recognized individuals on social media.
