With one final week of competition left, LPL Summer 2023 has proven to be an awesome event. Each match is a last chance to qualify for Worlds 2023 – in this LPL Summer betting preview we’ll be taking a look at the final matches!

LPL Summer Week 4 2023 Betting Preview – Format and Schedule

As the most populated region in all of League of Legends, the LPL Summer 2023 event features a whopping 17 teams fighting for prize and seeding.

Kicking off on 29th March, the event will conclude in August. Apart from the $500,000 prize pool, each match allows teams to earn points – while the winner heads to Worlds.

Specifically, there are two stages of competition as we outlined in our LPL betting guide:

• Group Stage – single round robin, BO3 matches, top 10 head to Playoffs
• Playoffs – King-of-the-Hill followed by Double-Elimination

Currently, after three weeks competition, one more week is left for teams to try and earn a spot to Playoffs. We’ve listed three exciting League of Legends betting opportunities from this upcoming week of matches:

22nd June 2023

• Invictus Gaming vs Rare Atom (09:00 CEST)

23rd June 2023

• LGD Gaming vs FunPlus Phoenix (09:00 CEST)
• Top Esports vs JD Gaming (13:00 CEST)

Invictus Gaming vs Rare Atom

With both teams currently residing at the bottom of the leaderboard, Invictus Gaming and Rare Atom are both trying to make the final cut and defy the LoL odds.

With Rare Atom sitting one win away from making it into the top 10, they are statistically favoured over Invictus Gaming, who are ranked lower than them with one less win.

However, the odds don’t sway too heavily against Invictus Gaming – this could go either way considering that each team is desperate for a win.

LGD Gaming vs FunPlus Phoenix

Further towards the bottom of the leaderboard, LGD Gaming are perhaps almost ruled out of a chance of making it into the top 10.

Meanwhile, FunPlus Phoenix aren’t doing much better, but their chances are more likely considering their 2-5 record. A win here followed by another one later this week could be all that FunPlus Phoenix need.

If they want to have a chance, they’ll need to start with a win over LGD Gaming, which is very likely.

Top Esports vs JD Gaming

The match everyone, and all of the League of Legends betting sites are looking forward to above all else – the two top teams facing one another.

While both teams are currently 7-1, the odds favour JD Gaming thanks to their impressive run this year. After placing first at LPL Spring, JD Gaming then went on to winning the international event – Mid-Season Invitational.

It’s for these reasons that JD Gaming remain favoured to continue dominating the LPL region.
