leo_drk rounds out Case's roster

Date:

The former MIBR and 00NATION player fills the vacant spot on the lineup.

Case announced Leonardo “leo_drk” Oliveira as a new player on their roster. The organization founded by Real Madrid footballer Casemiro now possesses a complete lineup again after parting ways with Arthur “f4stzin” Schmitt at the beginning of June.

The 22-year-old will return to action for the first time since April, when he was benched by 00NATION to make way for the new GODSENT signings.

leo_drk returns to activity with Case

leo_drk started his professional career in Sharks, whom he represented for more than three years. Impressive performances during that time and appearances at several ESL Pro League Finals as well as a semi-final run at DreamHack Open Rio 2019 eventually got him loaned out to MIBR.

Contract negotiations with MIBR proved unsuccessful shortly after, but leo_drk remained on board in the non-backed O PLANO team. The roster was eventually picked up by 00NATION in September 2021, but the project didn’t last and leo_drk was one of only two players, alongside Vinicius “vsm” Moreira, to survive the overhaul at the start of 2022.

The Brazilian rifler represented 00NATION for just under a year and was removed from the lineup after an underwhelming 12-14th place Americas RMR campaign. His individual rating suffered a hit during the unremarkable 00NATION days, plummeting to 0.98 from a much higher 1.09 while in Sharks and O PLANO.

leo_drk stated on Twitter that he is “sure that the team [Case] will write a beautiful story together,” while also pointing out that they will debut on August 15th, when the IEM Road to Rio 2022 qualifiers kick off.

Case‘s roster is now:

Brazil Lucas “steel” Lopes
Brazil Leonardo “leo_drk” Oliveira
Brazil Rodrigo “RCF” Figueiredo
Brazil Yan “yepz” Pedretti
Brazil Lucas “honda” Cano
