LCS Summer Week 4 2023 Betting Preview – Format and Schedule

Kicking off on 14th June, the LCS Summer season lasts until 21st July. Involving the 10 franchised LCS teams, the split is divided into two stages of competition as listed below and discussed in our LCS betting guide:

  • LCS Summer Season – 14th June to 21st July
  • LCS Championship – 27th July to 20th August

Starting with the LCS Summer Season, this features a double round robin, where each team competes against one another twice in BO1 matches – each one available for League of Legends betting. The top 8 teams qualify for the Championship as follows:

  • Top 6 – Upper Bracket
  • 7-8th – Lower Bracket

It’s at the LCS Championship that teams have a chance to earn a spot at Worlds 2023.

In this particular betting preview, we’ll be taking a look at LCS Summer Week 4 matches which are considered to be esports betting opportunities with LoL odds:

5th July 2023

  • Immortals vs TSM (23:00 CEST)

6th July 2023

  • 100 Thieves vs FlyQuest (00:00 CEST)
  • NRG vs Team Liquid (03:00 CEST)

LCS Summer Week 4 2023 Betting Preview

Immortals vs TSM

In this curious opening match for LCS Summer Week 4, we have the bottom two teams facing one another in the LCS Summer Standings.

Moreover, TSM are currently sitting in a three-way tie for seventh place while Immortals are one victory lower. As a reminder, only the top 8 will make it to the Playoffs – so this is a huge match for either team to gain an advantage over one another in this race.

Notably, both of these teams failed to qualify for the Spring Playoffs, we’re curious to see if they can turn things around this time.

According to the League of Legends betting sites, TSM is statistically favoured, but not by much.

  • Predictions: TSM (1-0) Immortals
  • Odds: TSM Outright Win (1.7), Immortals Outright Win (2.1)

100 Thieves vs FlyQuest

Further up on the standings, 100 Thieves and FlyQuest are avoiding elimination and trying to clench a higher seed. Ranked right on top of one another in the standings, 100 Thieves is 4-5 and FlyQuest is 3-6.

While yes, FlyQuest sits in the top 8 right now, they’ll need every win in order to survive and make it to the LCS Summer Playoffs.

While the statistics currently have FlyQuest ranked lower in the rankings, esports betting sites are considering the fact that FlyQuest placed second at the LCS Spring Season, while 100 Thieves placed third.

Considering this, LoL predictions have FlyQuest taking this one.

  • Predictions: 100 Thieves (0-1) FlyQuest
  • Odds: 100 Thieves Outright Win (2.3), FlyQuest Outright Win (1.6)

NRG vs Team Liquid

After acquiring the franchised spot from Counter Logic Gaming, NRG have started the season relatively well, currently one of the teams in the three-way tie for seventh place.

On the other hand, Team Liquid is bouncing back after a disappointing finish at the LCS Spring Regular Season, failing to qualify for the Playoffs despite being one of the most popular organizations.

Sititng in fourth place, esports betting sites have considered Team Liquid as the favourite here, maintaining their good form as they’re projected to keep climbing.

  • Predictions: NRG (1-0) Team Liquid
  • Odds: NRG Outright Win (2.4), Team Liquid Outright Win (1.55)
