Lamar Jackson Suffers PCL Injury

Date:

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has suffered a knee injury. A sprained PCL has been diagnosed, which could keep Jackson off the field for anywhere between 1-3 weeks, according to the average rehab time.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

In 12 games so far this season, Jackson has 2,242 passing yards and a completion rate of 62.3 percent. He’s thrown 17 touchdowns to seven interceptions as well. Being a dual threat quarterback, he’s also rushed over 100 times this season for 764 more yards and three more touchdowns.

The Ravens sit atop the AFC North with a record of 8-4 by virtue of a tiebreak with the Cincinnati Bengals, who have the same record. Quarterback Tyler Huntley will take over starting duties in the absence of Jackson. He started four games last season due to Jackson’s ankle injury.
