The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting in on the trade deadline action ahead of the 4:00pm ET cutoff time. Combo right/left guard Ezra Cleveland has been acquired by Jacksonville from Minnesota, reportedly for a late-round draft pick.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Halloween.
In his first year in the NFL, Cleveland was relegated to being a right guard, playing in all 17 games and starting nine. His sophomore year, he was moved over to left guard, but earned a starting spot in every one of the Vikings’ 17 games.
This year and last year, however, he’s bounced back and forth between guard spots. In 2022, he, again, played and started in every game. Cleveland has missed minimal time this season, playing in just six games.
