The IQT Nordics conference in late June 2024 is set to feature a keynote speech by Vishal Chatrath, a seasoned entrepreneur with a rich background in deep tech and a strong passion for innovation. As the co-founder and CEO of QuantrolOx, an Anglo-Finnish spinout from Oxford University, Chatrath is at the forefront of developing automation software designed to accelerate the scaling of quantum computers.

Chatrath’s journey in the world of technology and innovation spans over 25 years, with experiences that cut across a diverse range of fields, including optoelectronics, smartphone software, navigation systems, automotive technology, artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies. Before his current venture at QuantrolOx, Chatrath had been deeply involved in the startup ecosystem. He founded and led several startups, including Secondmind, an AI company, and VocalIQ, which was notably acquired by Apple in 2015. His entrepreneurial spirit and ability to lead startups from inception to successful exits demonstrate his acumen in identifying and nurturing cutting-edge technologies.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures at QuantrolOx, Chatrath is known for his role as an active advisor to promising deep-tech startups.
