After a showcase opening ceremony at the Palace of Culture in Iasi, Romania, the World Esports Championship Finals are now underway.  The tournament sees competitors representing their nations in a truly global event that saw 5,000 fans in attendance at the opening ceremony.

Six different esports are represented in the finals, with competitors from 11 countries and six continents set to take part.

Let’s take a look at the six esports being featured at the WEC, uniting nations in the ultimate competitive gaming showdown.

1. CS:GO

If you love CSGO esports or are a fan of CSGO betting then the 2023 World Esports Championships for CSGO will be a huge attractive option to follow.

24 teams from all over the world including Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, as well as Australasia will compete for the title of World Esports Champions.

After an enthralling group stage, the playoffs are now underway with Serbia, Sweden, Germany and Uzbekistan earning the seeded spot through to the quarterfinals.

2. Dota 2

It’s going to be interesting to see which of the 16 teams most Dota 2 bets have backed in this wide-open tournament.

Indonesia are back to defend the title they won last year, but they have already lost once, to Bulgaria in the group stages.

With the Playoffs now well underway, this is another wide-open tournament that could see any of a number of teams crowned as World Esports Champions.

3. Tekken 7

This individual event sees representatives from a host of countries battling it out on the famous fighting game Tekken 7 to see who will become the new World Champion.

An initial Group Stage has already been contested, with the playoff phase now set to start with six rounds of action used to decide who will be named the Grand Final champion!

4. PUBG Mobile

There’s $40,000 to be won by the victors in the IESF World Esports PUBG Mobile Championship.

Sixteen qualifiers will compete for the honour of that title from August 29 with representatives from all over the globe making the final 16 places in the competition.

Kazakhstan are last year’s winners and will be back to defend their title.

5. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
