Overwatch 2 has just released their first new hero of 2023, Lifeweaver. He is a support and a unique one at that. He is able to heal quite a bit while also using a very interesting lift pad to help allies and hurt enemies. With his release came a brand new arcade mode and a way to earn a free Lifeweaver skin. Here is how players can earn the Free Lifeweaver Skin Overwatch 2.

The event players will need to play is called B.O.B. and Weave. It is a 3v3 that is intended to help players learn how to play Lifeweaver with the aid of B.O.B. It is limited time and during this time, Lifeweaver is available to play for everyone. After April 22 though, this event, free Lifeweaver and the ability to earn the free skin are all gone.
To get the Free Lifeweaver Skin in Overwatch 2 players will have to complete five of the eight challenges listed for the event. A list of them is below.
Challenges
- Complete 5 Thai New Year event challenges.
- Complete 3 games of B.O.B. and Weave. Wins grant double progress.
- Complete 4 games. Wins grant double progress.
- Complete 8 games. Wins grant double progress.
- Complete 12 games. Wins grant double progress.
- Complete 16 games. Wins grant double progress.
- Heal 2,500 damage in B.O.B. and Weave.
- Pull B.O.B. 2 times with Life Grip in B.O.B. and Weave.
This is clearly a very easy way to earn the free skin. Players can essentially win four games and that would be the minimum needed to complete the challenge.
The Overwatch 2 devs are just wanting people to play so that they do not go into ranked using Lifeweaver for the first time. They are not having players do anything complicated with the new hero as well.
As stated, Lifeweaver is out and can be earned by playing the game through the battle pass in season 4 or he can be earned in season 5 once his challenges have been revealed.
