Veteran private equity firm Kohlberg & Company has brought in former Onex Corp senior exec Jessica Hoffman Brennan as a partner and head of strategy and investor relations.
Brennan will be responsible for leading Kohlberg’s fundraising, investor relations, communications and investment product strategies.
She was previously a managing director and head of client and product solutions at Onex Corp, and prior to that spent nine years as partner and managing director for IR and business development at Carlyle.

Kohlberg & Company, which was founded more than 35 years ago, soared to a $3.4bn final close for its ninth flagship fundraise in February last year.
Fund IX came in more than 50% larger than the firm’s predecessor vehicle, the $2.2bn Fund VIII raised in 2016.
