Dignitas 2023 LCS Summer Split Schedule

2023 Spring Review

Another Split and another poor performance from Dignitas to start off 2023. The season started with some promise. They signed Jensen and Santorin to be the core of their roster. Then they added Armut and IgNar to round out the roster with Spawn. The problems were pretty obvious as the season started though.

No one played well and Biofrost had to sub in for IgNar until his visa could come through. But the major issue was in the bot lane where Spawn had a historically bad start. The team brought in Tomo and looked much better. Sadly, that didn’t matter as they limped to a 3-15 record and are considered one of the worst teams in LCS history.

2023 Summer Split Roster

Top- Rich

Jng- Santorin

Mid- Jensen

Bot- Tomo

Sup- Diamond

For starters, there is not a lot to be excited about with this roster. Rich makes his way over to the LCS for the first time after spending the last few years bouncing around the LCK and LPL. Santorin and Jensen will be looking to find their footing again after extremely underwhelming Splits. Then there is the bot lane of Tomo and Diamond. Tomo is the only player of intrigue as he has been waiting for his chance for some time and shined on a bad team once he was given it last Split.

Predicted Spring Placement: 10

Potential Range for the Team: 7th – 10th

There are a myriad of question marks surrounding this team. They are playing with a roster full of players who showed very little last split and yet they only made a few changes. If they can all come together and the carries of Jensen and Tomo are able to get enough support, Dignitas could win some games.

Predicting them to do much more than winning a few games would require some major collapses from other LCS teams. Specifically, Santorin will have to do a lot to help Jensen and Tomo get to a place where they can do much. If he is unable to facilitate then this team could be just as bad as their Spring selves.

Sadly, while Tomo is a major upgrade from Spawn, Rich and Diamond are likely downgrades from Armut and IgNar. This Split will probably be another tough one for Dignitas fans.
