Business Development Manager – Investments – Maya

Table of Contents.

Manage a business with meaningful, superior, highly scalable and delightful investment experiences for novice and experienced investors, and wealth and asset management capabilities for various investment instruments.

You’ll join a nimble, diverse, and fast-moving product team that works cross-functionally with product, design, engineering and marketing teams to build, scale, and maintain the investment marketplace and platforms for PayMaya’s growing fintech ecosystem.

In this Role, you’ll:

  • Identify market opportunities, understand customer needs, and build partnerships that develops into innovative products that provide meaningfully superior investment experiences and wealth and asset management capabilities for novice and experienced investors both internally and externally.
  • Keep abreast of competitor’s new product offerings or service developments. Assess the threat to our business and create a plan of action to maintain a competitive edge for products.

Product Owner (New Business) – GCash

The Product Owner enables the Customer Group with tech capabilities to deliver the objectives set in the strategy. This role is the SPOC for everything related to a product’s roadmap, delivery and overall management.

  • Responsible for innovation and development of product vision and roadmap
  • Manages the product backlog of the squad and leads the prioritization of all demands including reported defects or bugs.
  • Works with business owners to define the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Ensures that all demands in the product backlog are clear, complete and signed-off with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer for the development team
  • Works with both the delivery team and QA to ensure delivery is based on agreed minimum viable customer experience.
  • Tracks progress of development until the product release.
  • Leads the post-mortem to review customer experience and assess the product

Responsibilities

  • Bring expertise in HR practices and compliance for the BSPC team
  • Leverage deep knowledge of “HR practices” in order to guide the business in connecting business challenges and opportunities to the right people solutions
  • End to end planning and implementation of Workplace Engagement
  • Strategize, plan and implement innovative projects and events to increase staff engagement
  • Lead end-to-end planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of team parties, BSPC anniversary, social responsibilities, recognitions, assemblies, team meetings, team buildings, year-end parties, and other relevant activities
  • Monitor performance of event, create postmortem reports and provide recommendation for future events
  • Create various internal communication materials for events, newsletters, benefits, etc.
  • Work closely with the other departments in the selection, assessment and procurement of vendors that will be used for the events
