Cleveland chooses Clevertouch for 3,000 classrooms

Date:

Cleveland Metropolitan is the second largest school district in the state of Ohio in the US, with 68 campuses and nearly 40,000 students.

Over the next two years, all 3,000+ classrooms in the district will be provided with a Clevertouch interactive screen.

The roll-out is part of a wider list of improvements in the school district, which includes giving parents and caregivers access to PowerSchool, a new, easy-to-use online location where they can access children’s records, communicate with teachers and submit consent forms.

Also on the cards is Wi-Fi on all of the school district’s yellow buses, enabling students to stay connected from home to school and back.

A bar code is being added to student ID cards so parents can monitor the progress of their child’s yellow bus and know when and where students get on and off the bus. Parents can monitor this through the Edulog Parent Portal app, available through the App Store or Google Play.

In addition, the number of high schools that compete in esports will increase from the current 14 to as high as 20. This will be the second year for esports in the district.
