Biden’s War on Bitcoin Will End, Promises Ron DeSantis

Date:

  • DeSantis vows to end Biden’s war on Bitcoin and crypto.
  • He and many other candidates show massive support for Bitcoin usage.
  • It seems the candidates heard the poll about voters expecting the right to use Bitcoin.

The ongoing US Presidential elections have been a clear sign of Bitcoin’s influence. In particular, republican candidate Ron DeSantis says he will end Biden’s war on Bitcoin and cryptos when he becomes President.

Indeed, candidates have come to the realization that Bitcoin and crypto regulations are important to the public. Thus, support for legal use of Bitcoin and crypto in the US would mean greater support for the candidate.

Earlier this quarter, DeSantis made many statements showing his staunch support for Bitcoin. He once said the only reason bureaucrats in DC dislike Bitcoin is because they can’t control the asset. Thus, he states that he will protect the people’s right to use Bitcoin.

In another rally, DeSantis says he will also ensure the banning of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). In fact, he said he would do so on his first day as the President of the USA. Over and over again, he says he will protect the people’s right to use Bitcoin.

The understanding of Bitcoin being an integral part of winning the hearts of the voters goes beyond just DeSantis. Other candidates from both the Republican and Democratic party understand the significance of cryptocurrencies.

To highlight Robert Kennedy Jr. is one such candidate. Besides taking Bitcoin donations for his campaign, Kennedy has also spoken at the Bitcoin conference. In addition, he too promises to ban CBDC’s.

Interestingly, Kennedy says he has bought 2 Bitcoin for each of his 7 children, further showing his approval for the use of Bitcoin (BTC). Another candidate is Francis Suarez, another diehard fan of Bitcoin.

Amid the electoral run, CEO of MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor ran a poll on Twitter. The results of this poll revealed that 83.8% require Presidential candidates to support the people’s right to own Bitcoin.

It is clear that the candidates heard this and made it a core part of their campaign to secure votes. Perhaps the United States can expect a Bitcoin and crypto-pro President to put the SEC in its place soon.
