Anaheim has traded Ilya Lyubushkin to the Maple Leafs in a three team deal with the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes will retain Lyubushkin’s salary in exchange for Toronto’s 2024 sixth round pick.
Anaheim will receive Toronto’s 2025 third round pick. The Ducks will make out nicely as they originally traded a fourth round pick to the Buffalo Sabres to acquire Lyubushkin.
Lyubushkin has four assists on the season and a +/- of -13.
