Activision Blizzard announces all pre-order bonuses for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

Date:

Activision Blizzard has finally revealed what pre-order bonuses and tiers are coming for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which are separated into two categories: Cross Gen Bundle and Vault Edition.

The Cross Gen Bundle is the usual standard version of the game, while the Vault Edition is the special edition.

The Cross Gen Bundle is priced at $70, an unusual price tag, and the Vault Edition busts a charge of $100. Unfortunately, there will not be a $60 version of the game. This is the first instance of it for the Call of Duty series.

Here is everything that comes included in each version, should you want to pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II right now.

The Cross Gen Bundle pre order includes:

-Early access to open beta, sadly neither Activision Blizzard nor Infinity Ward have announced an exact release date for the open beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

According to the pre order website, the open beta duration will last at least two days (as previous betas). Players can expect the open beta to start a little before the game’s total release on October 28th, 2022.

Lastly, keep in mind that the Cross Gen Bundle pre order bonuses apply to every playable platform. Including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC (Battle net and Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S.

The Vault Edition focuses on including cosmetics plus a small head start via system boosts for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

It is priced at a whopping $100. For this kind of price, players will receive the following benefits:

-Early access to the open beta

-Ghost Legacy Pack

-Red Team 141 Operator Pack

-FJX Cinder Weapon Vault

-Battle Pass & 50 Tier Skips

-Double experience token (10 Hours) and double weapon experience token (10 Hours)

The Ghost Legacy Pack is confirmed to include:10 Assault Weapon Blueprints and 12 Operator Skins, all for the operator Ghost, available to use in Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone as well. If you pre order now, you will unlock them immediately after pre purchasing the Vault Edition.

This confirmed via Call of Duties Official Website:

“For those die-hard Ghost fans who may already have this content or who may want some newer threads, know that this won’t be the only instant-unlock reward for the current Warzone.”

Then we have the Red Team 141 Operator Pack which will include four Ghost inspired skins for Price, Farah, Soap and Ghost. The FJX Cinder Weapon Vault is related to the new Gunsmith system in MWII, though very little information is known about this feature currently.

For those who ultimately decide to pick up the Vault Edition, do keep in mind that the Battle Pass and 50 free Tier Skips apply to only the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The double experience tokens will be available for use when the game launches on exactly on Day One.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is right around the corner, so start thinking on which version you would like to purchase, and hopefully get an early taste via the Open Beta.
